What's included in the VIP Ticket?
The VIP ticket gives you access to an exclusive area at the side of the concert grounds right up to the front of stage barricade/stage fence lines.  The VIP section has two private bars, premium air conditioned washrooms, free water(please bring your own refillable containers), dedicated shaded area, a small dedicated seated area, and access to a VIP only cash ATM.  The VIP area also offers shorter line access to amenities(washrooms, bars, free water, ATMS) that are also found in the General Admission area.  You are encouraged to lay out your blankets in the VIP area, and there will be a designated area by the back of the fence for those who bring folding chairs.  Please note that folding chairs cannot block exits, patron laneways, and the front area closest to the stage.

*All VIP ticket holders must redeem a VIP wristband from the box office on June 22nd before entering the Pier 8 grounds.    You will need a VIP wristband in order to enter/exit the VIP Section.

Where is Pier 8?
Pier 8 is in downtown Hamilton by the Hamilton Harbour. The site is located at the end of Discovery Drive.

The entrance to the concert will be north of Discovery drive, and off of the waterfront trail.

Please note parking will not be available by Pier 8.
We strongly recommend accessing the venue via public transit, bicycle or on foot.  Taxis and ride share vehicles may experience delays due to traffic.  Please allow yourself extra time to reach the site.

Do kids need a ticket?
This event is All Ages/19+.  When accompanied by an adult kids 10 and younger do not need a ticket.   There is a maximum of 2 children per one adult ticket in the GA and VIP area.  Please note there is no dedicated kids zone at the concert.

What are the set times?
Gates open: 2:30PM. Set times will be posted closer to the event.

What time is the show over?
The show will end by 12:00AM

What about Parking and Transportation?
Pier 8 is located in downtown Hamilton so it’s easy to get to by walking, bike, taxi, or uber - We strongly recommend accessing the venue via public transit, bicycle or on foot. We will supply free bike racks for those biking to the concert. Be forewarned taxis and ride share vehicles may experience traffic delays. Please allow yourself extra time to reach the site.

For those taking the GO TRAIN from out of town - It leaves Toronto (and other GTA stops) on the HALF HOUR commencing at 6:43am until the evening to the ALDERSHOT Go station, from there you connect with a bus (no extra fare) to the HAMILTON Go STATION

Don't worry about late night returns, the final Hamilton GO bus leaves every hour with the last one leaving at 12:30am.

Please note Pier 8 is a public civic facility so there is no car parking directly on site but you can find public parking all around downtown Hamilton - As we get closer to the event we will list some recommended public parking sites with pricing.

Is there a section designated for blankets and or small folding chairs?
No, there are no specific designated areas for blankets, you can spread them out wherever, however folding chairs can only be set up in the furthest back area of the concert site, closest to the food and washrooms, so not to impede patron walking lanes, be an hindrance in case of an emergency, and not be in the front or middle of the standing/sitting general admission   

Will you have food and alcohol on site?
Yes, we will have a variety of local food truck vendors on site, a free water refill station and a few bars. Please note - most bars are cash only, though each bar will have a dedicated debit/credit line.  We will also have have ATMs on site.

What if it rains?
The show goes on rain or shine!

Can I leave the concert and come back?
No, there is no exit and re-entry once you enter the concert grounds.

What can I bring to the concert?
- An empty refillable water bottle
- Cash
- Suntan lotion
- Small umbrellas
- Beach towels and blankets
- Small backpacks and purses
- Baby strollers

- Knives, or weapons of any kind
- Glass of any kind
- Alcoholic beverages
- Coolers
- Outside food or drink
- Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
- Small folding chairs (only allowed in designated areas)
- Large folding chairs
- Large bags or backpacks
- Large umbrellas
- Fireworks
- Any animals other than service animals
- Professional DSLRs with detachable lenses or professional video equipment
- Drones
- Frisbee's, balloons, balls, or other projectiles
- Bikes, skateboards, scooters, motorized vehicles (Bike rack parking available by the box office)

Is there an accessible section for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, we have a designated section beside the sound board.  This area is restricted for people with accessible needs and their companion.  This area also has an accessible washroom.  The VIP section also has an accessible washroom.

Water on Site:
There will be a free water station near the front entrance.  Please bring empty refillable water bottle containers.  Bottled water will also be available for sale at each bar.
